Bathurst - Mrs. Doris (Good) Scott, 88, wife of the late Charles Norman Scott, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away Thursday (December 12, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Salmon Beach, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Scott) Good.

Doris was employed at Consolidated Bathurst from 1960 to 1989. She was a member of First United Church and an active member in UCW during her younger years.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children: Emma MacKay (Jack) of Bathurst, Bryan Scott (Kathleen) of Moncton, Janice Harris (Bryan) of Bathurst, Milton Scott, of Nepisiguit Falls, N.B., Ron Scott (Etta) and Brice Scott (Brenda) both of Bathurst.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister, Vera Wood (Dave) of Salmon Beach; one sister-in-law, Rhoda Scott (George) of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Norman Scott in 1989; two sisters: Florence Ronalds, Alice Chapman; an infant brother, Ralph and a grandson, Jason.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning (December 14, 2013) at 11 a.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the First United Church Endowment Fund or a charity of the donors choice.
