1924 - 2013

Allardville, N. B. – Mrs. Germaine Raîche, 89, wife of Emile Raîche, of Allardville, passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday (December 25, 2013).  

Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Sivret) Lanteigne.

Besides her husband of 66 years of marriage, she is survived by ten children: Gloria Hachey and Léon (Denise) both of Bathurst, Jean-Claude (Lise Lanteigne) of Miramichi Road, Alyre (Jeannine) of St. André, Glou. Co., Victor (Nancy Brideau), Richard, Rosaline Gionet (Fernand), Réginald, Mona Raîche (Conrad Larocque) and Raymond all of Allardville.  

16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. 

Two brothers: Lucien Lanteigne (Réjeanne) of Allardville and Paul Lanteigne of Montréal.  

One sister, Gabrielle Lanteigne (Arthur Lavigne) of Montréal.  Several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by two infant children: Noëlla, Aline; four brothers: Antonio, Roméo, Léo, Philippe; two sisters: Dorina and Exilda.

Germaine was well known for her ability to read cards, her generosity, kind heart, her love of music and enjoyed the simplicities of her life.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Saturday (December 28, 2013) at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (December 30, 2013) at 4 p.m. from Église Christ-Roi, Allardville. 

Visiting hours are Saturday from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
