1932 - 2014

Bathurst – George Collison, 83, of York St., Bathurst, passed away Monday (January 13, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Scottland, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. George Collison.

George a First Class Engineer aboard several sailing ships.

He was predeceased by his wife, Corrine (Mallet) Collison in 2001.

He is survived by one daughter, Jean Collison of Bathurst

One brother, James Collison of Scottland.

One sister, Margaret Nezbeth of Scottland.

Several nieces and nephews.

A very close family friend, Bonnie Channon of Bathurst.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held later this summer at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Cemetery, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.
