1934 - 2014

Bathurst – Mrs. Elvina Plourde, 80, wife of Eldège Plourde, formerly of Balsam Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Friday (January 17, 2014) at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Allardville, she was the daugther of the late Aimé and Adèle (Duguay) Guignard.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Rubis Plourde (Bill Theis) of Chesterton, Indiana, USA, Jeannette Frenette (René) and  Pierre Plourde (Louise Ouellette) both of Bathurst. 

Four grandchildren: Patrick, Rachelle, Kent and Keith.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers: Omer, Jacob and a sister, Alfreda.

Visiting hours will be on Monday (January 20, 2014) at 12 noon from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m.

Donations in memory of Elvina may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a favorite charity.
