1931 - 2014

Pabineau Falls, N.B. - Richard Pacaud, 82, of Pabineau Falls, N.B., passed away on Wednesday (January 22, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Bonfield, Ont., he was the son of the late John Arthur and Elizabeth Bernadette (Chaput) Pacaud.

He worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his life.

He is survived by three brothers: David (Linda) of Marmorra, Ont., Bobby (Shanda) of Alberta and Ronald (Sheila) of Pabineau Falls, N.B.

Four sisters: Terry Lalonde (René) of Montréal, Que., Jeannine Dimech of Alliston, Ont., Clair Xerry of Toronto, Ont. and Charlene McBride (Jim) of Midland, Ont.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Jerry.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (July 9, 2014) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Richard may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
