1940 - 2014

Bathurst - Mrs. Muriel "Lol" LeCouter, 73, wife of Alvin LeCouter, of Young St., Bathurst, passed away Monday (January 27, 2014) at the Foyer Notre-Dame- de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Sr. and Geraldine (Young) Babin.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Susan Kane (Chris) of Beresford and David of Moncton.

Four grandchildren: Janika, Rebecca, Molly and Joey.

One brother, Raymond Babin (Irene) of Bathurst.

Five sisters: Doris (Melvin) McCreavy, Elaine, Shirley, Lorraine Bannerman all of Ontario and Sandra Comeau (Gerry) of Amherst, N.S.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Evelyn, Merl and Mary and a brother, Ernest Jr.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (January  30, 2014) at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Muriel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Foyer Notre-Dame- de-Lourdes or a favorite charity.
