Bathurst - Mrs. Kathleen Gammon, 79, of Queen St., and formerly of Main St., Bathurst, and Big River, wife of the late Harry Gammon, which occurred Tuesday (October 12, 2004), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Eva (Boucher) Vienneau.
She was a member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C., Br.18 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Harry, in 1972. She is survived by: Three sons: Gregory Gammon (Anne Marie Christie) and Barry Gammon (Mary Jane Boudreau) both of Bathurst and Danny Gammon (Heather Caldwell) of St. Catharines, ON: One daughter: Lori Scott (Jeffery) of Bathurst: Four sisters:
Geneviève Grasby (John) of Calgary, AB, Claudette Vienneau and Jean Jennings (late Ellis) both of Bathurst and Irene Larouche (Jean) of Port Cartier, Que.:
Five brothers: Vincent Vienneau (Martha) of Sudbury, ON, Eloi Vienneau (Monique) of Bathurst, Louis Vienneau (late Irene) of Bathurst, Claude Vienneau (Grace Boucher) of Bathurst and Eric Vienneau (Mary) of Halifax, NS: 2 sisters-in-law: Mary Zoe Vienneau and Eileen Vienneau: Eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday afternoon (October 15, 2004) at 4:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial was in the parish cemetery, King Ave.
Arrangements were in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or to a organization of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
