1949 - 2014

Bathurst - Delphis Guitard, 64, of Dumeresq St., Bathurst, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Armand and Claudia (Grant) Guitard.

He is survived by three daughters: Chantal Lavigne (David Arsneau) and Carolle Vienneau (Stéphane) both of Beresford, Manon Lisa Guitard of Ottawa, Ont. 

Three grandchildren: Jonathan, Jolin and Janie.

The mother of his children, Jeannine (Benoit) Guitard of Beresford.

Three brothers:  Raymond (Claudette), Reginald (Marie-Mae) both of Bathurst and Donald (Donna) of Nipisiguit Falls. 

One sister, Yvette Aubé (Clement) of Beresford.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Clifford.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst. 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 2014 at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church. 

Donations in memory of Delphis may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
