1944 - 2014

Bathurst – Roger Boucher, 69, of Melanson St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (February 27, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Everette and Exilda (Duguay) Boucher.

He worked for the former Smurfit Stone Container as a Millwright.

Besides his wife, Laurina (Haché), he is survived by two daughters:  Donna Boucher of Bathurst and Darlene Tremblay (Steven) of Rough Waters.

Four brothers:  Everett Boucher Jr. (Sharon) of Wawa, ON, Daniel Boucher (Betty), William Boucher and Richard Boucher all of Bathurst.  Three sisters: Ethel Gray (Earl), Laura Adams (Peter) and Arlene MacDonald (Adrian), all of Toronto, ON.

Six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Anne-Marie.

The body will rest after 9:30 a.m. Saturday (March 1, 2014) from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 a.m.  Donations in memory of Roger may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
