1942 - 2014

Bathurst – Albany Chiasson, 72, of Fleet Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Edmond and Phoebee (Mallet) Chiasson.

He was predeceased by his wife, Claudette (Savoie) Chiasson.

He is survived by two sons: Terry (Dany) of Beresford and Anthony (Michèle Boudreau) of l’Ile Perrot, Qc.

One daughter, Nicole Chiasson (Stéphan Ranger) of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren: Jonathan, Sonia, Mathieu and Justin.

Eight brothers: Laurier (Jeannette), Jimmy, Cletus (Betty), William, Jarvis (Cathy), Robert, Gilbert (Debbie) and Delphis "Jack" all of Bathurst.

Five sisters: Yvette (Roger) Hachey of Bathurst, Sylvia (Camille) Daigle of Bathurst, Isabelle (Gerald) Roy of Bathurst, Eva (Mario) Dugas of Moncton, Therese (Edwin) Sealy of Woodstock, N.B.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters: Adele, Amy and three brothers: Stanley, Thelesphore and Aurele "Bobby".

The family will receive relatives and friends after 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. 

Donations in memory of Albany may be made to the NB Lung Association or a favorite charity.
