1939 - 2014

Bathurst - Jeanne M. Roy 74, of St. Theresa Crescent, Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Doucet) Roy.

She enjoyed spending time at home, gardening, bowling and watching her favorite television show Coronation Street.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Lavigne.

Two sons: Jason Carroll, Jody (Lisa) Lavigne both of Bathurst.

Three grandsons: Jonathan, Tyler and Chase.

One brother, Robert (Alexa) of Beresford.

One sister, Joan (Kenneth) Gray of Pabineau Falls.

The family will received relatives and friends on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home, St. George St., Bathurst. 

Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, March 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. 

Donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
