1933 – 2014

Gérald Vienneau, 80, husband of Carmella Chiasson of Kennock Van Dr., Bathurst, died on Friday, April, 18, 2014 at Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Philias and Josephine (Hachey) Vienneau.

Gérald worked at W.J. Kent for 28 years and he was the superintendant of the Holy Family Cemetery for many years.  

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald (Sylvie) of Bathurst.

One daughter, Lucie (Dean) of Bathurst.

Two granddaughters: Emilie and Karine.

Two grandsons: Patrick and Jonathan.

Three sisters: Edna Caissie (late Herman), Rosalie Leet (Freddy) both of Bathurst and Léona Godin (late Raoul) of Bangor, Maine U.S.A.

Several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters-in-law: Anita Vienneau of Petit Rocher and Stella Vienneau of Bathurst.

He was predeceased by three brothers: Warren, Oscar, René and, one sister, Violet.

Visitations will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Sunday, April 20, 2014 from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Tuesday from 9 until time of funeral.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.

In memory of Gérald, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
