1937 - 2014

Beresford - Maurice Comeau, 76, of Beresford, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Dalhousie he was the son of the late Arthur and Palmire (Bélanger) Comeau.

He was a Chemical Lab Technician in Dalhousie for most of his life.

Besides his wife, Suzanne (LeBlanc) (Monteith) Comeau, he is survived by two sons:  David and Daniel.  

Two daughters:  Jacqueline and Linda.  Four grandchildren.

One brother, Albert Comeau (Jeannine) of Quispamsis, N.B.  

One sister, Gloria Comeau Roy (Claude) of New Richmond, Que.

One step-son, Rodney Monteith (Kerry Anne) of Calgary, Alta.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by five sisters.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Maurice may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a favorite charity.
