Bathurst – It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Mrs. Jacqueline Chamberlain, 83, wife of Valmond Chamberlain, of Twin Lane, Bathurst, which occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Inkerman, she was the daughter of the late Amedé and Adeline (Noël) Robichaud.
Jacqueline worked as a clerk at the former W.J. Kent & Co.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Paul Chamberlain of Nipisiguit Falls, N.B. and Denise Chamberlain of Smithers, B.C.
Two grandchildren: Sean and Sarah.
Four brothers: Armand Robichaud (Gloria), Joseph Robichaud, Gilles Robichaud all of Inkerman and Albanie Robichaud (late Carmelle) of Rivière-de-Loup, Que.
Two sisters: Marguerite Robichaud of Inkerman and Estelle Cormier (Gerry) of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by two brothers: Jean, Arthur and a sister, Rita.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Elhatton's Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (May 13, 2014) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
Donations in memory of Jacqueline may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
