Bathurst - Mrs. Julienne Lavigne, 80, wife of the late Ronald Lavigne, formerly of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday, May 11 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Anna (Godin) Losier.

She worked as a seamstress for Lounsbury's until her retirement.

She is survived by four children: Allen (Pauline Godin) of South Tetagouche, Harold (Nancy) of Bathurst, Paul of Vancouver, B.C. and Betty Keel (Ron) of Truro, N.S.

Six grandchildren: Joshua, Matthew, Jessica, Mélanie, Jonathan and Alyssa.

One brother, Ovide Losier (Lise) of Ontario.

One sister, Lillian Frenette of Courtney, B.C.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by six brothers: Simon, Lucien, Albert, Lazare, Joseph, Jean-Paul and three sisters: Bernadette, Thérèse and Janet.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15 2014 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday at the Funeral Home Chapel from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of Julienne may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
