1939 – 2014

Janeville, NB - it is with great sorrow that the family of George Dennis Craig, of Janeville, announce his death at the age of 75, which occurred Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Picton, ON, he was the son of the late George and Violet (Clarke) Craig.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Ellis) Craig and other family in Ontario.

George worked as a truck driver and part-time country singer for many years in Ontario.  In 1992, he moved to Janeville, NB, to continue truck driving and playing country music which was his first love.  Later in his life he worked for 7 years as a dedicated employee of Pollara.

Everyone is welcome to join in the family in a celebration of George's life at the New Bandon-Salmon Beach Fire Hall in Janeville on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm.  Donations in memory of George may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
