1925 – 2014
Bathurst - Benoit Boudreau, 88, formerly of Laurier St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (June 27, 2014) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Adelard and Lorette (Chiasson) Boudreau.
He was retired from the Eddy Group. Ben served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Army and was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
Besides his wife, Mary (Kennedy) Boudreau, he is survived by one son, Patty Boudreau.
One brother, Joe Boudreau (Debbie) of Bathurst.
Four sisters: Anita Daigle (Ronald) of Dalhousie, Mary Frenette of Shediac, Doris Chiasson of Bathurst and Emelia Arseneau (Louis) of Dunlop.
Several nieces and nephews.
He predeceased by a son, John; a sister, Della; two brothers: Alcide and Lawrence.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (July 2, 2014) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Ben may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.
