1938 - 2014

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Roland ''Roly'' Vienneau of Bathurst, at the Chaleur regional Hospital, on Tuesday, July 8 2014 at the age of 75.  

Roly was the first born of the late George and Mae (Lavigne) Vienneau.

The beloved husband of Irene (Aubie) of 47 years; father of Lisa (Mark) Hannan of Bathurst and Cathy Vienneau of Halifax, NS; grandfather of Brian and Darren Hannan.

He is also survived by three sisters: Mona (Dale) Glendenning of Bathurst, Louise Vienneau of Ontario and Connie (Dave) Rest of Ontario.

Seven brothers: Ulyss (Beth) of California, Ralph (Sharon), Mike (Colleen Ramsey) of Bathurst, Valmond (Kathy), Eugene, Daniel (Lorrie Gionet) and Alain all of Ontario.  Many nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly miss by family and many friends.

Roly was a member of the Bathurst City Police from 1964-1978 and the NB Sheriff's Department from 1987-2009.  He also owned and operated Vienneau's Lucky $ and Vienneau's Quik Mart for many years.

He was an avid card player, bowler and Habs fan.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Holy Family Church, Bathurst.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.

Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity would be appreciate by the family.
