1939 – 2014

Bathurst - Louis Guignard, 74, of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de- Lourdes and formerly of LaPlante, passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Allardville, he was the son of the late James and Catherine (Chiasson) Guignard.

He is survived by three brothers: August (Marguerite) of Toronto, Ont., Sylvio of Bathurst and Benoit (Monique Duprés) of Nigadoo. 

Two sisters: Albertine Duguay (Pierre) of Petit-Rocher and Adrienne Lew (Tommy) of Detroit, USA.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by four brothers: Fred, Roger, Alphonse, André and a sister, Jeanne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home or Funeral Mass. 

Burial will be in the St-Nom-de-Jésus Cemetery, Beresford.
