Bathurst – Cecile Roy, 88, surrounded by the love of her family, of Residence Vienneau, Bathurst, formerly of James St., Bathurst, died on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Haché and Marie-Anne Roy.
She is survived by six children: Armande Comeau (late Napoléon) of Nicholas-Denys, Rénald Roy (Eleanor Doucet) of Dunlop, Armella Roy (David Chiasson) of Bathurst, Valmon Roy (Bernice) of Robertville, Claude Roy (Marie-France) of North Tetagouche, Sylvio Roy (Constance Doucet) of Bathurst.
Thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Three brothers: Omer (Marie-Blanche) of Ste-Rosette, Alphé (Louise Brière) of Rouyn, Que., Yvon Haché of Bathurst.
Three sisters: Ida Haché of Moncton, Armande (Jean-Paul Bertin) of Fabreville, Que., Viola Haché (Edgar Bertin) of Nigadoo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Normand A. Roy (2005), one son, Victorin; four sisters: Esther, Gemma, Marielle and Julienne; two brothers: Octave and Elzéar.
Visitations will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 1h30 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, from Our Lady of the Rosary, Bathurst.
