1926 – 2014 

Bathurst – Mrs. Rita Duclos, 88, of Union St. Bathurst and formerly of Dumaresq St., passed away Tuesday (August 19, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Basilice (Larocque) Duguay.

She is survived by  two daughters:  Yolande (Alphie) Couture and Stella (Joseph) Noel both of Bathurst.  One son,  Claude (Karen) Duclos of Bathurst.   Four grandchildren:  Gilles, Rachelle, Lisa and Michelle.  Three great grandchildren:  Samantha, Ryan and Logan.

One brother, Léopold Duguay (Rachelle) of Bathurst.  Two sisters, Lorette Duguay and Rose Marie Blanchard (Ernest) both of Bathurst.

She was predeceased by her husband Edgar in 1992, her sisters, Alma, Irma, Emerentienne and Josephine, and brothers, Wilfred, Léopold and Gerald.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home,  Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (August 22, 2014) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Rita may be made to a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
