1917 - 2014

Bathurst - Mrs. Eleanor Thériault, 96, wife of the late James Thériault, formerly of St. Mary's Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday August 31, 2014, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lavigne) Couture.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, James, in 1987 and is survived by two daughters: Adeline Langlais (Claude) of Montreal, Que., and Bella Thériault (Léonard Chamberlain) of Bathurst.  Three sons:  Corneil (Sharon Fillmore) of Saint John, Gordon (Sylvia) and Wallace (Dorina) both of Bathurst. 

Ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Daughter-in-law, Bernice Thériault of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was pre-deceased by a son, Roger in 2007.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Eleanor may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
