1952 - 2014

Roger Boudreau - 62, of Bathurst, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. 

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Evelyn (Doucet) Boudreau of Robertville and formerly of Bathurst and the late Pierre Boudreau.

He was a fireman with Bathurst Fire Department for 37 years until his retirement in 2008.

He is survived by two sons: Pierre of Whitehorse, Yukon and Jacques (Chantale Lagace) of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Shanie and Marc Antoine.

Two brothers: Claude of Nigadoo, René (Alice) of Bathurst.

Seven sisters: Yvette Roy (late George), Georgina Hachey (Paul Emile), Blanche Barbeau (Richard), Claudia Flynn all of Bathurst, Marie Garrett (late Thomas) of London, Ont., Diane Gallant (Cléo) and Jeanne Roy (Rodrique) both of Robertville.

A special friend, Jacinthe Landry of Bathurst.

The mother of his children, Doris Hachey of Bathurst.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by two brothers: Conrad, Arthur and one sister, Corinne.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. 

Donations in memory of Roger may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
