1961 - 2014

Chesterton, Indiana, USA – Rubis Plourde, 53, wife of Bill Theis of Chesterton, Indiana, USA, passed away suddenly at her residence on Saturday September 13, 2014.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Eldège Plourde and the late Elvina (Guignard) Plourde.

Rubis worked as reference manager at Westchester Public Library in Chesterton, Indiana.

Besides her husband, and her father of Bathurst, she is survived by her sister, Jeannette Frenette (René) and a brother, Pierre Plourde (Louise Ouellette) both of Bathurst.

Her step-daughter, Kim Spurgeon (Roger); two grand-children: India and Zain all of Toledo, Ohio.

One niece Rachelle; three nephews: Patrick, Kent and Keith.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home and no funeral.  

Donations in memory of Rubis may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a favorite charity.
