1942 - 2014

Bathurst - The death of Frederick "Freddy" Goldrup, 72, of Gosnell St., Bathurst, passed away at his residence on Saturday September 27, 2014.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Lavigne) Goldrup.

He was retired from Brunswick Mines as an Industrial Mechanic after 27 years, was a member of the Legion Dart Team and loved Fly Fishing.

Besides his wife, Loretta (Boucher) Goldrup, he is survived by two sons: Randy of Moncton and Dean (Ashley) of Campbellton.

One sister, Mary Trespanier (André) of Hearst, Ont.

One brother, Clifford Towne (Estelle) of Sudbury, Ont.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by three sisters: Marion (Towne) Lordon, Eleanor Power, Joan Doiron and one brother, John Goldrup.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday morning October 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Freddy may be made to the Extra Mural Program or a favorite charity.
