1920 – 2014

Gloucester Junction, N.B. - Mrs. Marie Anne Lavoie, 93, wife of the late Adrien Lavoie, of Gloucester Junction, passed away on Friday October 3, 2014, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Rita (Vallée) Chiasson.

She is survived by three sons: Gérard Lavoie (Linda) of Gloucester Junction, Gérald Lavoie (Blondine) and Claude Lavoie both of Bathurst.

Two daughters:  Claudette Lavoie of Lachine, Que. and Thérèse Lavoie of Bathurst. 

Two grandchildren, Cindy, Lisa; one great-grandson, Lukas.

Three brothers:  Alfred Chiasson (Anita) of Bathurst, Denis Chiasson (late Shirley) of Ottawa, Ont. and Arthur Chiasson (Vivian) of Saint John, N.B.

One sister, Martha Doucet (Joe) of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by four brothers: Gérard, Albert, Lawrence, Raymond and one sister, Theresa.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
