1927 – 2014

Bathurst – Mrs. Alberta « Bertha » Frenette, 87, wife of the late Delphis Frenette Sr., formerly of West Bathurst, passed away on Sunday November 9, 2014, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and Malvina (Haché) Bryar.

She is survived by eight children: Micheline (Stanley) Beaton, Nicole Henry both of Bathurst, Jocelyne Frenette of Inkerman, Raymonde Ducas (Rosaire) of Chateauguay, Qc, Réjeanne Roy (Fernand) of Allardville, Delphis Jr. of Bathurst, Jacques of Dunlop and Roger of Beresford. 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers: Joseph Bryar (Delourdes) of Beresford, Émile Bryar (Alpha) of Tracadie-Sheila, Cléo Bryar (Jeannette) of Beresford.

Six sisters: Victoria Alarie (late Victor) and Olivette (Arthur) LeJeune, both of Chateauguay, Que., Annette Bryar of Lachine, Que., Doris Bryar of Saint John, N.B., Thérèse Ingram (Nelson) of North Carolina, U.S., Gladys Bryar (Ulysse) of Granby, Que.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by three children: Simonne, Jocelyne (in infancy), Simon; two brothers: Ernest, Raymond and two sisters: Anita and Noëlla.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Bertha, may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation or a favorite charity.
