1924 - 2014

Bathurst – Mrs. Cécile Pitre, 90, wife of the late Gérard Pitre, of Beresford, passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Hélène « Nellie » (Doucet) Chamberlain.

She is survived by two sons:  Lionel (Marie) of Beresford and Raymond (Nicole) of Saint-Rosette.  Three daughters: Adéline Boudreau of Petit-Rocher Nord, Claudette Hachey (Médard) of Beresford and Annette Pitre (Paul Brun) of Moncton.

Seven grandchildren: Andrée, Natasha, Sophie, Monica, Véronique, Denis, Michel and thirteen great-grandchildren: Joey, Jonathan, Kristopher, Julien, Maxime, Samuel-David, Zachary, Alex, Roger, Kira, Myriam, Arielle and Janice.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Paul-Emile, a daughter, Ida, two brothers, Joseph, Gérald and two sisters, Edith and Cécile.

The body is resting at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. from St-Nom-de-Jésus Church, Beresford.   Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from noon until time of Funeral.
