1940 - 2014

Bathurst - Mrs. Germaine Couture, 74, formerly of St. Mary's Ave., Bathurst, passed away Saturday December 13, 2014, at the Villa Sormany in Robertville.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Yvonne (Roy) Couture and the late Stanley Couture.

Besides her mother of Bathurst, she is survived by five children:  Kevin Young, Kim Chamberlain (Michael), Tammy Dugas (Jean Pierre Doucet), Monique Boucher all of Bathurst and Annie Boudreau (Gino Benoit) of Petit-Rocher.  Seven grandchildren.

Four brothers:  Tom Couture (Alice), Roger Couture (Dian), Georges Couture (Rose-Marie) and Léonard Couture (Marguerite) all of Bathurst.  Two sisters:  Violet Chiasson and Jeannine Doucet (Robert) both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16 2014 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
