Salmon Beach - Clarence Roy, 58, of Salmon Beach, passed away Sunday (November 21, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Petit Rocher, he was the son of the late Alcide and Albina (Grant) Roy. He worked as a woodsman for most of his life. Besides his wife, the former Isabel Legacy, he is survived by: One son: Michael Roy (Annette) of Salmon Beach, NB One daughter: Laurie-Ann (Danny Frenette) of Salmon Beach, NB Four sisters: Josephine Alberts (Vince) of Bathurst Patricia Lagacy (Lionel) of Rough Waters, NB Murielle Patterson (Manford) of Beresford Roseline Godin (Gérard) of Bathurst Six brothers: Gilles Roy, Laurence Roy (late Marie-Rose), Raymond Roy (Sheila Frenette), Joseph Roy (Linda Roy)and Alfred Roy (Marie Roy), all of Bathurst Clovis Roy (Jolie-Anne) of Moncton Two grandchildren, Melissa Frenette, Caitlin Roy and several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (November 23, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Mary's Ave.
