1924 - 2014

Bathurst - William ''Bill'' Petrie passed away at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in Bathurst, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the age of 90, husband of Lillian (Arseneau) Petrie of North Tetagouche.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Catherine (Lavigne) Petrie.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, Elmer Petrie (Mellie) of Bathurst.

Two sisters: Vi Babin (late Lawney) of Bathurst and Lillian Hazel (late Gratton) of Dartmouth, N.S.

Many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters:  Eva Mallet and Claire Melanson.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel in Bathurst.

Donations to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

The family wishes to thank the nurses & staff of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes for their excellent care given to Bill.
