1938 - 2015

At his residence, Bathurst, Omer Duguay passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at the age of 76 years and 10 months.

Born in Allardville, he was the son of the late Patrick Duguay and Sara Duguay.

Omer worked as an auxiliary nurse for 42 years at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

He is survived by one daughter, Marie-Josée (Alain Thibodeau).

One son, Yane (Lindy Dawn).

Two grandchildren; Justin and Isabelle.

His best friend, Elenor and his stepmother, Anita Duguay of Six-Roads.

Six brothers and five sisters:  Etienne (Yvette Duguay) of Allardville, Patricia (late Léandre Roy) of Bathurst, Gérard (Carmelle Sonier) of Sheila, Willard (Eva Robichaud) of Haut-Sheila, Réjean (Elda St-Pierre) of Six-Roads, Annette (Yves Bénard) of Tracadie, Vernon of Montreal, Céline (Donald Losier) of Haut-Sheila, Monnette (Bobby Butler) of Six-Roads, Yves of Six-Roads, Sylvette (Bertrand McLaughlin) of Losier Settlement, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He was predeceased by two sisters: Lina and Marie; one brother Walter (in infancy).

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 4h p.m. from Christ-Roi Church, Allardville.
