1954 – 2015

Beresford - Mrs. Gabriele McMullen, 60, wife of Edmond McMullen, passed away on Tuesday February 10, 2015, at the Robert L. Knowles Veterans Unit, Bathurst, formerly of Beresford.

Born in Lahr, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Egon and Margaret (Metzger) Gassmann.

She was a former employee of Walmart in Bathurst.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Eric (Kelly Drury) of Montreal, Que., and Andy (Heather) of Fredericton.

Four grandchildren: Devlin, Cael, Zachary and Noelia.

Two sisters: Christal Himpele (Klaus) and Karin Herling (Karl) both of Germany.

One brother, Dieter Gassmann of Germany.

Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest at Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), St. George St., Bathurst, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 am, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. 

Donations in memory of Gabriele may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick, the Royal Canadian Legion or a favorite charity.
