1926 – 2015

Bathurst – Mrs. Corinne Roy, 88, wife of the late Livio Roy, formerly of Chaleur St., Bathurst, passed away suddenly on Monday February 16, 2015 in Grande-Digue.
Born in Pointe-Verte, she was the daughter of the late Evariste and Adélia (Doucet) Fournier.
Devoted believer, in recent years she assisted in Pastoral work at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
She will be sadly missed by three daughters: Colette Bernier (Daniel), Suzanne Roy (Georges) both of Grande-Digue, NB and Diane Roy Losier (Gilberte) of Miramichi.  Daughter-in-law, Jeannita Belliveau Roy of Dieppe.  Grandchildren, Julie, Mathieu, Donald, several great-grandchildren.
Three sisters: Jeannine Comeau (Ernest) of Bathurst, Jacqueline Comeau (late Aurèle) of Nigadoo, Élodie Haché (Gérald) of Pointe-Verte.  Two brothers:  Gérald Fournier (Simonne) of Lynn, Mass, USA and Aldéric Fournier of Bathurst.  Three sisters-in-law:  Eunice Boyle of Bathurst, Gisèle Fournier of Pointe-Verte and Kathleen Beaulieu (Edouard) of Laval, QC.  Brother-in-law, Michel Arseneau of Petit-Rocher.  Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by three sons, Donald (1965), Maurice (2001), Daniel (2013) one grand-daughter Renée (2002), sisters, Anita Fournier, Edna Arseneau, brothers, Valmond and Romeo.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning February 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral.  Donations in memory of Corinne may be made to Maison de Nazareth or a favourite charity.
