Bathurst - It is with deep sadness that the family announce the death of our daughter, Colleen Rose Marie Fitzpatrick, 41, of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, which occurred Monday March 23, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Dolbeau, Que., she was the daughter of Isabelle (Picot) Fitzpatrick and the late James Fitzpatrick.

Colleen was a beautiful person inside and out.  God wanted another angel in heaven.  She suffered from mental illness for many years.  However, she was able to lift people's hearts with her loving spirit.  To know her was to love her.

Besides her mother, Isabelle and step-father Ronald Jessulat of Bathurst, she is survived by two brothers:  Boyce (Corine Goyette) of Montreal and Timothy (Marissa Lok) of Toronto, Ont.

Her aunts and uncles:  Roger Picot (Simone), Raymond Picot (Barbara), Paul Picot (Jackie), Rita Duval (late Arthur), Jean Laporte (Emery), Leonard Picot (late Mary), Winnie Fitzpatrick Gallant (late Clayton) and several cousins.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning March 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of Colleen may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of the donors choice.
