Bathurst - Mr. Lionel Harry Boucher, 70, husband of Stella Roy, of Rio Grand Road, died Monday, December 13, 2004 at Chaleur Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Harry and Jeanne (Chamberlain) Boucher.
He was employed with Donald Hicks Construction as a heavy duty operator. He worked as an industrial mechanic for Dynatic, in mining operations.

11 grandchildren, 1 great grand child.

He was predeceased by:
a son Lee Roy: sisters, Kathleen and Alice; brothers, Eloi and Hadley.
Visitation will be 7-9 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 2 PM from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the spring. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
