1929 – 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Honorine Legacy wife of the late Clifford Legacy, of Bathurst, passed away on Monday May 23, 2016, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 86.

Born in Beresford, she was the daughter of the late Jean-François and Isabelle (Frenette) Vienneau.

She is survived by her children: Alden (Pierrette) Legacy of Petit-Rocher, Denise (Emerild) Downing of St-Léolin, Rose Legacy (Emile Hachey), Linda (Raymond) Landry all of Beresford  and Guy Legacy (Angelina Thibeault) of Bathurst.

18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

One adopted sister, Rita (Florent) Hachey of Beresford.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Louise; a son, Claude; two brothers: Napoléon and Nazaraire.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon May 27, 2016, at 4 p.m. from Église St-Nom-de-Jésus of Beresford.  

Donations in memory of Honorine may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
