1926 – 2016

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Rose-Marie Doucet, wife of the late Léandre Doucet, which occurred at the Villa Sormany, Robertville on June 2, 2016, at the age of 90.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose de Lima (Godin) Christie.

She is survived by one son, Marc (Simone) and one daughter, Geraldine both of Beresford.

Three grandchildren: Rémi (Kim) of Edmonton, AB, Lucie (Régis) Benoit of Dieppe and Diane (Devin) Covey of Bedford, NS; seven great grandchildren: Carter, Jazlyn, Jessica, Lukas, Alexis, Jaxson Grace and Olivier.

One sister, Sr. Georgina Christie of ''Sister of Charity'', Halifax, NS.

She was predeceased by five children: Jeannine, Joseph, Anne-Marie, Rose-Marie and Jean- Paul; five sisters: Kathleen, Delia, Margaret, Frances and Josephine and one adopted brother, Wilfred Daigle.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Thursday, June 9th, 2016 at 4 p.m.
