1940 - 2016

Bathurst - Gordon Young of Smith Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 75.

Born in Grande-Anse, he was the son of the late Irving and Alphonsine (LeBreton) Young.

He was retired from the former Brunswick Mines.

Besides his wife, Blanche (Bennett) Young, he is survived by one daughter, Karen Doyle (Joey) of Bathurst.  One granddaughter, Morgan.

Two sisters: Sally Ellis of PEI and Theresa Young of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Jason in 1992.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
