1947 – 2016

Bathurst - At the Chaleur Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy illness we announce the passing of Eloi Doucet, husband Priscilla Doucet of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at the age of 69.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Raymond F. and late Marion (Lafolley) Doucet.

Besides his wife Priscilla, he is survived by his daughter, Carol Canty-Doucet of Bathurst, a step-daughter, Mary (Hugh Alexander) of North Tetagouche, a step-son Shawn Canty of Bathurst.

Two brothers:  Eugène (Lillianne) of Nigadoo and Eric (Helen) of Middle River.  One sister: Anne-Marie (Daniel Frenette) of Sainte-Anne, Glou., Co.

Eloi is also survived by many grandchildren, one great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 5th, 2016 at 2 p.m.

In Memory of  Eloi, donations to the Dialysis  Department of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
