1932 – 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Clothilda Blanchard, wife of the late Edward "Ned" Blanchard, formerly of Gosnell St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday September 19, 2016 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de- Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 83. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Odilla (Couture) Legacy.

She is survived by two children: Robert Blanchard of Bathurst and Glenda Provost (David) of Free Grant.

Four grandchildren: Tim, Bobby, Kira, Tristan and two great-grandchildren: Connor and Lexie.

Three brothers: Roger Legacy (Réjean) of New Richmond, QC, Lincoln Legacy (Arnolda) of Beresford and Albany Legacy (Bella) of Moncton. 

Two sisters: Geraldine Godin and Blanche Doucet both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Clifford, Léo and a sister, Mary.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday September 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Clothilda may be made to the Bathurst Animal Shelter or a favorite charity.
