At the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton, on Sunday September 25, 2016, Jacqueline (Jackie) Pitre, of Moncton passed away after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 52. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late George Pitre and the late Rose Anna Doiron.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Larry Ellis of Moncton.
Six brothers and sisters: Roger Pitre (Diane) of Mississauga, ON, Cécile Pitre of Petit-Rocher, NB, Omer Pitre of Victoria,BC, Armande Vienneau (Denis) of Free Grant, NB, Marielle Pitre (late Marcel) of Nicholas Denys, NB, Richard Pitre (Chantal) of Nigadoo, NB
She also leaves to mourn, six half brothers and sisters: Thérèse Losier (Gérard) of St-Sauveur, NB, Francine Doiron (Wayne Stymiest) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Marguerite Morrison of Beresford, NB, Régis Doiron (Janita) of Beresford, NB, Louis Doiron (Claire) of Nicholas Denys, NB, Gérard Doiron (Joanne) of Lac St-Charles, QC.
She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, her close friends: Martine and Suzie; also, by a very special niece Annie Doiron and grand-niece Mégane which she cherished.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), 270 Centre St. in Beresford on Friday, September 30th, 2016 between 2 to 4 p.m. from where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Crous, the staff of the Palliative Care Department of the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital Center and Jackie’s caretakers for all the care given to her during her illness.
