1945 - 2016

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Jeanne Peters, of Miramichi Road which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 71.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Freda (LeCouter) Lee and step daughter to the late Eric Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer.

Her five children: Donna Peters, Kevin Peters (Tanya), Shawn Peters (Carol), Tracy Peters and Kelly Branch (Barry) all of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren:  Ryan, Jason, Ashley, Justin, Brandon, Britney and Connor.

Three brothers: Bernard Theriault (late Aline) of Bathurst, Ted Lee (Isabelle) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Shawn Lee (Ellen) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), St. George St, Bathurst. 

Funeral service will be held Thursday morning, November 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel.

Donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.

The family would like to send a special thank you to her caretaker Donna.
