Bathurst - Joseph Eugene Roussy, 83, of Raymond Ave., Bathurst, died Sunday (February 20, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Pasbébiac, Que., he was the son of the late Pierre-Léon and Celestine (Roussy) Roussy.
He was a very active member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, and a 4th Degree Knights of Colombus, Council #1935. His hobbies were gardening and wood-working, and was known by his family for cooking the best lobster.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, the former Florence Vienneau

13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a sister, Gertrude and two brothers, Joseph and Cyril.
The body will rest after 7 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (February 23, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
