Bathurst - Mrs. Emily Doucet, 89, wife of Hector Doucet, formerly of Varrily St., Bathurst, died Monday (February 21, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in LaPlante, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Brigitte (Boudreau) Boudreau. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League and the St. John Ambulance. Besides her husband, she is survived by: One daughter: Elizabeth 'Betty' Hachey (Sonny) of Bathurst One sister: Roseanne Arseneau of Bathurst Three grandchildren, Michel, Nicole, Rachel, three great-grandchildren, Chislain, Samuel, Nathan, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. www.elhatton.com Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (February 24, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from noon till time of Funeral.
