New Bandon - Glendon Hillock, 77, of New Bandon, passed away on Sunday December 25, 2016, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in New Bandon, he was the son of the late Samuel and Nina Jean (Sealy) Hillock.

Glendon was a trucker, farmer and fisherman for all of his life.

Besides his wife, Sharon (Day) Hillock he is survived by three daughters:  Amber Hillock (Daniel Couture) of Black Rock, Angela-Rose Nina Hillock (Christian Roy) of LaPlante and Daisy Hillock of Calgary, AB.

One brother, Boyd Hillock (Theresa) of Miramichi.  Two sisters:  Roberta DeCourville (Richard) of Stonehaven and Eva Gladys Miller Hillock of Toronto, ON.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Ernest, Elgin, Ronald and a sister Jean.

A private visitation for family and close friends will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), from 2-4 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton.  All are welcome to a reception to follow at the Pokeshaw/Black Rock recreational center in Pokeshaw.
