It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of William Henry Powell, husband of Joan Elizabeth (Jex) Powell, formerly of Allardville, which occurred at the Foyer-Notre-Dame-de Lourdes, Bathurst on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the age of 88.

Born in Surrey, England, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anne (Tandy) Powell.

Besides his wife of Allardville, he is survived by two Sons:  Barry (Liz) of England and William Jr. "Billy" of Allardville.  Three Daughters:  Susan Paulin (Jean Claude) of Allardville, Carol Kaye (Darren) of St. Anne and Julie Powell (Marc Frenette) of Robertville.

Grandchildren:  Alicia, Louise, Mark, Stephanie, Melanie, Michael, Amanda, Meaghan, Mallory, Anna, Emily and seven great-grandchildren.

One sister:  Elizabeth "Betty" Brewer of England.

He was predeceased by brothers, Tom, Fred and John.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.
