Bathurst - Lucille Arseneau, 72, of Dumeresq St., Bathurst, died Thursday (March 17, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Jane (Doucet) Arseneau.
Lucille was actively involved in many organizations in our community. She served as president and vice president of the Bathurst Hospitality Days, member of the Children's Wish Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation and served 5 years as president of the Canadian Cancer Society. She was previously employed with the Chaleur Regional Hospital. Lucille was always available to her friends and relatives to support them in time of need.

Four nieces: Debbie Arsenault of Halifax, Christine Arsenault and Carol Ann Cormier both of Bathurst, Sandra Jenkinson of Calgary
Four nephews: Kevin Arsenault of Calgary, AB, David Arsenault of Truro, NS, Jeffrey Arsenault of Moncton, Bobby Gardiner of Bathurst
Five great-nephews, two great-nieces who were very dear to her.
Lucille will be sadly missed by family and her many, many friends.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (March 19, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
