David Basque Jr., 58, of Big River, died Thursday (March 24, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Edna (Vienneau) Basque and the late David Basque Sr.
He owned and operated his own trucking company.
Besides his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by his wife, Bernice (Vienneau) Basque
Three sons:
Donald Basque (Sylvia),
Derrick Basque (Lynn) and
Jonathan Basque (Natalie), all of Bathurst
One granddaughter, Samantha
Three brothers:
Reginald Basque (Yvonne) and
Charles Basque (Beatrice), both of Bathurst
Jean-Guy 'John' Basque (Muriel) of Clifton
Six sisters:
Jeannine Dumanski (Walter) of Sault-Ste-Marie, ON
Angela Basque,
Claudia Basque (Robert) and
Carmella Basque, all of Bathurst
Annette Legacy (David) of Moncton
Stella Basque (François) of Ottawa, ON
Several nieces and nephews.
Junior will be sadly missed and always treasured in memory by family and many, many friends.
The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (March 28, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, St. Mary's Ave.
