Bathurst – Emilien Haché, husband of Yvette (Boudreau) Haché, passed away on Friday August 11, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 86.
Born in St-Rosette, he was the son of the late Léandre and Évangeline (Doucet) Haché.
Besides his wife, he was a devoted father to three daughters: Lolita (Ed Grenier) of Beresford, Denise (Tim Kyle) of Bathurst and Sophie (Stefan Doucet) of Dunlop.
Two sons: Denis (Susan Branch) of Bathurst and Jean-Guy (Gisèle Daigle) of Bathurst.
Nine grandchildren: Keith Duke (Annie) of Dunlop, René Duke (Amanda) of Manitoba, Stéphane Haché (Amy Joe) of Bathurst, Mélanie Haché of Bathurst, Vanessa Robichaud (Chris) of Bathurst, Tiffany Kyle (Aaron) of Miramichi, Nicholas Kyle of Bathurst, Kamie Doucet of Dunlop, and Jesse Doucet of Dunlop.
Six adorable great-grandchildren.
Two brothers: Leonard (Gabrielle) and Bernadin (Eva).
Eight sisters: Lauza (Willrod), Angéline (late Antonio), Carmelle (Roland), Claudette (Claude), Lucille (late Claude), Jeanne (Michel), Jeannine, Jacqueline and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Gérald and a sister, Gilberte.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, August 15, 2017 at 2 PM from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave. Donations in memory of Emilien may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
